Michelle Dupuis was arrested Sunday after being stopped on West Putnam Avenue in the area of Oak Ridge Street when she ran a stop sign and then made a wide turn, said the Greenwich Police.
After pulling over her vehicle, the officer reported smelling the odor of alcohol and Dupuis was asked to submit to a series of field sobriety test, which she reportedly failed, police said.
A search of the vehicle turned up five white pills, later determined to be a schedule 2 controlled substance, police said.
She was charged with DUI, failure to obey a stop sign, improper turn, and possession of a controlled substance.
Dupuis is being held on $250 bond, which she was unable to post, and is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 28.
